Terms of service


Our general terms and conditions govern all use of hufar.com and in particular the product offers and sales on this website.
When you visit this website or buy a product on it, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

1. ORDER

A binding sale between you, the buyer and hufar.com, the seller, is concluded when you place an order on our hufar.com website. Such sale is governed by our terms and conditions

Your order is deemed placed once you have completed the final step of the online order by clicking on “submit order” on our hufar.com website. 

By submitting your order, you agree and accept our Terms and Conditions, including all related conditions, such as the Privacy Policy and return policy.

In the unlikely event that an online ordered item is not available any longer, we will inform you accordingly through the contact numbers you have us with.

  

2. PAYMENT

We take all appropriate steps to ensure that online shopping at Hufar is secure, by cooperating with SHOPIFY.

After submitting your order online, you will reach the secure payment page for payment of your order.

Once done, you will receive an electronic order confirmation on your screen and also by e-mail when your payment has been cleared.

Any refund for fully justified reasons will be made through the credit card/payment card used for the transaction, on which the same first/last name should appear.

As with any international bank, we cannot be liable for foreign exchange fluctuations between the day of your purchase, and that of our refund. All net prices are in Euro, and exclude shipping/delivery/insurance costs.

You are free to increase insurance premium on your purchase (computed by the courier provider):to achieve this, please call us or send us an email before payment check out. 

 

3. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We strive to ensure a full, detailed and faithful description of our items. This includes colour description (photographic quality of colour may vary from actual product), the listing of any defect(s), product alteration(s), restoration(s), serial number where applicable, size and item’s official commercial name.

 

4. DELIVERY SHIPMENT

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email indicating your tracking number and a link to the courier’s website, so you can benefit from real time online tracking any time. Upon delivery, your signature confirms the acknowledgement of receipt of your purchase and as such, you become responsible for the acquisition. 

Delivery in the European Union and Europe traditionally takes 6 to 14 working days (excluding bank holidays).

If you are absent, the carrier will leave a delivery notice informing you about how to rearrange a consignment at a date/day more convenient to you. It is your responsibility to liaise directly with the courier company. Orders are generally delivered between 8am and 20pm.

Hufar.com are not responsible for any delays caused by customs clearance in the buyer’s importing country of residence. Also, we are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

 

IMPORTANT FOR INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS

Please note that import duties, taxes and other charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These additional costs are at the buyer’s expense. 

Please check with your importing country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs may be prior to buying.

 

5. RETURN POLICY 

We want you to be fully satisfied with every item you purchase. We accept returns within 5 (five) days as a money back guarantee. This period starts on the day following the day on which you received your order (date appearing on your consignment slip and recorded online by the courier). Items bought or picked up in store are not eligible for refund.

Return policy fully applies, provided that the following conditions are met: 

  • The safety tag is still attached.
  • The returned item(s) is(are) in the same condition as described at the moment of the purchase.
  • The item(s) shows no additional wear and/or damage. 
  • The item(s) shows no handling and/or signs of manipulation not present at the moment of the final sale.
  • Both original packaging and paper are included and in good condition.
  • For accessories, shoes and other luxury items, this means the box/dustbag in which they were initially packed and originally presented at Hufar.com
  • The original tags and labels are attached and in good condition

Each party shall have the right to cancel a sale in case of a material alteration by the other party of these terms and conditions.

We can cancel a sale if you as a customer or if your payment is deemed fraudulent.

Please allow 14 days from receipt of the return for the refund to be completed.

Return delivery costs are at your own expense. We recommend that you use a registered, well known company, that provides proof of delivery (for example, DHL, UPS, TNT, DPD, FEDEX registered delivery with acknowledgement of receipt)

Please kindly note that all purchases are final, and requests for an exchange are not accepted. 

 

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

 All content on hufar.com is copyright and trademark protected.

It is not permitted to use, reproduce or distribute content from this website 

 

7. APPLICABLE LAWS AND JURISDICTION

This agreement between you and hufar.com is governed exclusively by the laws of the Kingdom of Belgium, which national languages are Dutch (Flemish), French and German.

The Courts of Brussels, Belgium and, if you are a citizen of the European Union, the courts of your place of residence will have exclusive jurisdiction. The other Member States of the E.U. are: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

In the event a provision of these terms and conditions is invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. 

In our privacy policy, you will find information on how we will use your personal data and other data.

At Hufar, we typically collect personal data such as your first name, last name, e-mail address, postal and/or other contact details, payment/credit card information. Your data will be used to process orders, to complete each sale on our website and for marketing purposes. The GDPR provisions are as follows: “’processing’ means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.” (Art. 4, Definitions (2)).

E-mail and Marketing messages. We use your e-mail address for our newsletters and e-mail marketing, but you are able to unsubscribe at any moment. Hufar will never sell your personal details to a third party for marketing purposes.

Website Security We do everything to make shopping as secure as shopping in a store. We work with Shopify  to protect your payment when you order at hufar.com. This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet.

Third parties (such as couriers, banks, credit card service providers, etc.) will only receive the minimal information they need to carry out their professional services. Third parties will only be allowed to use your personal details for the sales agreement between you and Hufar and will not have the right to use it for any other purposes, unless your written consent has been given. In case of fraud prevention verifications, we may transfer your information not only to the banks and credit card service providers but also to the concerned official authorities. At all times, where we disclose your information for the purposes of fraud prevention, it will remain secure.
